With all due respect to everyone working hard behind the Phase 3 project – an online experience which I enjoy very much – I must point out that when we look at how our food is controlled and how very little options there are to these economic systems, one element becomes apparent: It’s all about control. Not just control of factory farmed animals or crops but of factory farmed human lives.
Those who control what we eat, control us – Like a population of prisoners: Keep in mind the US has less than 5% of the worlds human population and yet has more than 25% percent of the worlds incarcerated prison population. These relative to global population statistics haven’t been seen since since World War II and the Nazi era. Life in the US where I live isn’t quite Ramallah or Gaza City but the powers that be are poised to descend on us as such if we don’t accept their control, eat what they tell us to eat, buy what they tell us to buy or stare hypnotized by their media via Television and think what they tell us to think.
For as compelling as your series is to learn from it is a hard lesson – a very hard lesson indeed.
Never-the-less thank you for your work in the Wake Up Project.
I just don’t see what to do with knowing this. I rather envy people who can just sleep through all this in their consumerist bubble of a (non)-reality. An illusory reality might be preferable to waking up in this social catastrophe.
You can wake up to this – and know – but in reality I don’t see how to remove these chains of control from my own personal life or anyone around me.
It is a hard lesson to learn and a hard one to endure.
